Creations

Occasionally I design, occasionally I write, and occasionally I program. Here is a few of my various creations, and I hope to expand this page quite a bit in time.

All pages open in a new window.

Greg Crothers' Webfolio
This site acts as a central placeholder for all of the websites I have designed. I hope to use it in a more professional capacity as my portfolio grows.

Designed using MS Notepad, utilizing CSS and small bits of DHTML. Graphics designed in Adobe Photoshop.

Radix Consulting, Ltd.
I designed this website for Radix Consulting, a hospitality recruitment firm based in Edmond, Oklahoma. The layout of the site is based around the company logo, with a lean, functional look that allows the user to get down to business without useless distractions, yet still has an appealing look. I also created pages for online resume creation and submittal. Future additions will include a web-based dashboard for page updates, and possibly more customized questionnaires.

This site was designed using Adobe Photoshop and MS Notepad, and utilizes DHTML, JavaScript,
CSS 2, and PHP server-sided scripts.

Caffeine Rabbit Guestbook
Come sign my guestbook! I programmed this thing from scratch as an exercise in ASP, ADO, and SQL, and saints be praised it works.

Caffeine Rabbit Design

Caffeine Rabbit Design
Hey, this is where you're at right now! Caffeine Rabbit Design is my own little personal playground to practice my web skills. Graphics for this site were created using Adobe Photoshop and a trusty scanner, while the HTML and CSS coding was completed via MS Notepad.

The Huxley Project
During my Systems Analysis class in my senior year of college, my group and I had to design a prototype website that would automate a fictional college's tech support system. My job was to design the various web-interfaces mockups, from end-user error submittal to system administrator's screens. From what I understand, our presentation recieved the highest grade in the class.
The site was designed using Notepad and Photoshop, and requires that JavaScript be enabled in order for it to function properly.

KatKam!

KatKam!
Hooray for webcams! This is my own little webcam page, which I actually don't use much anymore. Why sign up for a webcam service, when you have FTP? I modified this little script I found so that it'd work on this site, and voila: live pics updated every minute.
The camera is an Intel USB Webcam, the back-end is powered by nifty program called pjWebcam, and the page itself is run on JavaScript.

Mandelbrot Viewer
This is a program I wrote in college that enables the user to view the fractal designs of the Mandelbrot set. What the heck is the Mandelbrot set, you ask?
Go here for a good explanation.
The zip file includes the program, two data files, and an instructional readme file. Requires Windows9x/XP and an OpenGL capable graphics card to work.

Random Dice Roller

The Random Dice Roller
This is just a little JavaScript page I put together a few years back to simulate the toss of a die. The intent was to use it for online games, but better methods soon became available.
